When a mysterious investor uses him to find Merlyn’s prototype earthquake machine, Oliver enlists the help of his new apprentice, Roy. But Roy hasn’t slapped enough water to learn to control his emotions yet. What kind of drastic measures might Oliver have to take? Laurel may be doing something drastic too, but it involves unhealthy amounts of alcohol. And she is sinking deeper and deeper.
